The balanced manifold runner is that all runners have identical length,shape,and sectional dimensions.from the sprue to each cavity. The design is to ensure each cavity has a balanced material flow and is filled out at the same time. The different between balanced manifold runner and the unbalanced manifold  runner is that the the length from sprue to the each cavity is different. Unbalanced manifold runner have the features that 1.the size of the sprue (near the gate) is greater than that far away from the mainstream gate size.2. distributary channel can't be too long, or the temperature, pressure may will make the cavities which are far away from the mainstream difficult to fill.3.with the unbalanced distribution ,the distributary channel length will be short thq=an that of the balanced distribute.4. if the subchannel is too long , we can longer the head size od the head size along the direction of melt slag hole so that the cold material is not into the cavity. 5. When layout the runner and the cavity, the center of the plastic projection area must in line with the injection molding machine clamping force line.
