 temperature control system is normally component by controller main engine, power cable, thermocouple signal line, connection box ,the basic requirement of it is To be precise temperature control and has a protective effect on hot runner system. Here i want to introuduce the temperature conroller features

     
First, it has Soft start protect heating element, Hot runner mold after stop using for a period of time, might have moisture penetration in the heating element, woring in this condition, may cause short-circuit, damage the heating element. To avoid this phenomenon temperature controller will remove the heating element with low voltage on the moisture and have the leakage situation of test. Confirm heating element is dry enough in full load working voltage applied. Second, Automatic temperature switching function , plastic melting in hot runner systen has time limit. Temperature is various in different stage and time. Temperature cotroller can ensure us with that. Third, Open loop mode with manual intervention. Temperature control will move to the open loop mode in the condition of Thermocouple failure occurs or not properly temperature phenomenont o ensure the injection molding process can still continuously. Other features like : The controller algorithm ,Modular structure, Synchronous uniform heated parts,Automatic inspection system malfunction, A good user interface,Memory function,Communication function are all the Temperature conroller features.

 Sprue is the most imprtant part in hot runner system mould, since the temperature control system is very complex around the sprue. around the gate area ,the temperature field is dynamic change according to the change of the injection molding process . In the injection molding stage, since the thermal flow ing and the cutting heat, gate temperature is inreasing. In the cooling phase, the temperature around the gate will reduce. That is to say the gate temperature will floating in each injection molding cycle. So temperature control in hot runner sprue is very important. In the ejection stage, the flowing should perfect solid around the gate.If gate is too hot, the folwing may folw out of mold. Otherwise, if the gate solid condition id too big or cold , the gate may can not open in the next injection cycle . For variaty cavity moulds, temperature in differents gate should be the same to ensure the mold can be opened simultaneous .cavities with same filling pressure and injection time, parts to ensure uniform size and weight here are why temperature control in hot runner sprue is very important. Hot runner mould have many features. First , it it small pressure lose and can be inject in low pressure and in the mean time it have the incease the quality of the products by the transmit of the pressure. Second, it can be procuct goods in a automatical condition for increase the rate of production and decrease cost. Third, basicly can can reach procudting without scrap material, can save the raw material. However, hot runner molds structure is complex and the cost of mold is higher then other stypes. So it is widely used in products with high quality requirements and lager products demand. Besides, it it applied with material of molding in the low temperature , stability in the high temperature , easy to flow in the low temperature, good thermal conductitive and high distortion temperature which can ensure to enject quickly in the mold. Material like PE,,PP, PVC,ABS ...all have such characters . These are the application of hot runner moulds.

Thermocouple is a temperature sensing element, is a kind of instrument.

The material to making nozzles is required to have preferable mechanical strength and good heat conductivity. For other material like inorganic mineral filler, reinforced glass fiber or material mixed with fire retardant, the material of the nozzle should have the capability of abrasion resistance and chemical resistance. The most used is heat resistant steel,include German DIN1.2343, X38CrMoV5-1, which are belong to hardening steel, equivalent to American H11, with HRC 44, heat conductivity 25W/(m.K). They are used to the case of nozzle and other components.
For valve gate nozzle , it has high requirement on heat resistance. Some use beryllium copper to make valve gate nozzle, with heat conductivity 200W/(m.K); Some other use Beryllium cooper cobalt alloy to valve gate nozzle,with heat conductivity 225W/(m.K), with heating with working temperature 280 °But need to smear some Ni on the surface to prevent the decrease of mechanical energy because of the high temperature.Valve gate normally use beryllium copper, which do not need nozzle body around the surface. Copper alloy has heat conductivity over 350W/(m.K), Aluminum alloy has heat conductivity arrange from 130 to 170 W/(m.K). Both of them are used to make the sleeve of nozzle heater and rolled bend.
The supporting pad, bearing ring and other heat insulation elements are all of stainless steel, but they are poor in bear high pressure. So, most of them are used of titanium alloy such as TiA1V4 with 7W/(m.K) heat conductivity. The best material is fired ceramic, with 2W/(m.K) heat conductivity, and good pressure resistance, with very low expansion factor.
