Compare to the traditonal slide assemblies, a hydraulic locking core pulls cylinder has the followeing advantages:

An alternative method is to use a hydraulic locking core pulls cylinder ,it uses a seperated rings that presses into an internal groove inside of the cylinder assembly .it closed when the oil come inside from one port and when it reachs the end,the slide locking part will start working and lock the piston at one postion,and when the inejction is finished,the other oil port start letting the oil in.and it is unlocked .Thus,if using a hydraulic locking core pulls cylinder, the injection pressure from the cavity acts to the seperated ring,locking the slide without needing a heel block.so all these will get a smaller mould base size which resolves mould designs、reduce materail cost and of course overall cost.

First, manifold heat balance. The heat balance mainly refers to the manifold heat installation distribute evenly, now majority uses two ways of heating, one kind is inserts the preheater pipe on the hot runner manifold; Another kind is adds on the heating block directly on the manifold. The former heating effect is more obvious. But the thermal equilibrium refers to the evenly of heater pipe and the heating block on manifold detouring and lays aside, the distance between main sprue, the spray nozzle and pressure meson should be considered.

1.    Heating type:
The nozzle has two heating methods: heating internal and hating external, or mix the two. Short nozzle may use heat conduction, the material is beryllium copper and the temperature comes from manifold. The main runner nozzle’s temperature also comes from injection nozzle.

2.    Function:
The difference between main runner nozzle and injection nozzle is the former is connected to injection machine and the latter is connected to manifold, the latter has many kinds of output sprues. If the main runner nozzle injects plastic to cavity or cold runner, it is called single-tip nozzle. It also has many kinds of output sprues.

3.    Sprue type (in the line of hot runner, we always use sprue type to name nozzles)
A.    Open type nozzle: just like the picture a, it is pin point gate nozzle, this nozzle will leave a small trace. Generally, we always classify dia. Below 1.8-2.0mm as pin point gate nozzle. Picture b is direct gate nozzle, this nozzle will leave big inverted triangle trace. We should cut it.
B.    Valve gate nozzle: just like pic. c and d, there is few trace on products.the noral valve gate nozzle biggest dia. Is 2.5-3.0mm.

4.     Nozzle passage:
The nozzle axes direction is the same as runner direction is called straight line nozzle. On the contrary, it is called abgle nozzle.

5.    Nozzle NO.:
Besides single-tip nozzle, the others are multi nozzle. There are 2-8 or more nozzles. Decrease nozzle number and smaller manifold dimension can save cost when you choose multi nozzle.
